The surrounding greenery and lake are stunning for any occasion, and it’s one of Cheshire’s top wedding venues. In fact, the Ceremony Barn itself looks out to the lake, with stunning views for wedding filmmaking.
I’ve had the privilege to shoot at some of Cheshire’s best venues, like Colshaw Hall, Dorfold Hall, or even Merrydale Manor. But Sandhole is magical, and I absolutely love this venue. Some of my recent work was also featured on Hitched.

Louise and Mathias’ special day
Louise and Mathias got hitched at Sandhole Oak Barn, on a beautiful summer day. Louise and Mathias met over 10 years ago, and despite Mathias living in France, they relationship never stopped to blossom.
As a Cheshire wedding videographer, I was delighted when they asked me to shoot their film at Sandhole Oak Barn. The Oak Barn lake is perfect for drone footage, so I made sure to capture some aerial shots to tell the story of their day.
Their celebrations were filled with emotions, and Mathias delivered his speech in both French and English. Their wedding film captures exactly who they are, and how much their family and friends mean to them.
As part of the final edit, I went the extra mile, and I delivered Louise and Mathias’ film with French subtitles, too, as I really wanted to make sure Mathias’ French family could relive their beautiful day, and understand every words that were spoken that day.
