The Lake District is an enchanted place, and I can’t think of a better location for a wedding in the North West of England. Nestled in the beautiful landscapes of Cumbria and on the tranquil shores of Lake Windermere, Town Head Estate is as magical as it gets. As a wedding videographer, I’ve filmed many weddings at some of the UK’s best luxury wedding barns, but none compare to Town Head Estate.

Jess and Tiff’s featured wedding film at Town Head Estate
Jess and Tiff tied the knot at Town Head Estate in the summer of 2023, and this was one of my favourite weddings that summer. The day was filled with love and laughter, perfect for my style of creating cinematic, emotive and timeless wedding films.
I arrived there early, and made sure to capture drone footage of Lake Windermere, with rowers, boats and endless horizon. I love the scene setting within their film, as it instantly captures the location and vibe of their day.
Jess and the bridal party got ready at the stunning Bridal Beauty Suite, whilst Tiff and his groomsmen finished their preparations at the Farm Cottage. Tiff put the finishing touches to his groom’s speech on the morning of the wedding itself, which I captured beautifully in their wedding video. He worked hard to craft a speech that pulled on everyone’s heartstrings, and he meant every word he said to Jess that day.
Their outdoor ceremony was simply stunning, and they said ‘I do’ by The Lake View Terrace & Croquet Lawn, a private lawn that looks out directly onto Lake Windermere. A superb setting. Following the ceremony, we had a couple of couple portrait sessions, both of which feature in their wedding film: stunning scenes of the couple by the Lake shore and beach, and another one in the woodlands.
