Couple Engagement Videography
Your engagement story captured through beautiful video
Engagement and elopement videography
Whether you’re planning to get engaged, or have already said yes and are looking into wedding videography, then you’ll want to start looking at engagement shoots.
Typically, engagement shoots are done by a photographers, and they’re a great way for couples to get comfortable in front of a camera. As a cinematic wedding videographer, I offer engagement shoots, but with a little twist: as well as the usual pictures, I also provide couple engagement film, which tells the story of your relationship. It’s planned for, and made with you in mind.
In a recent blog article, I wrote about why you should get both a wedding photographer and a wedding videographer. And nothing makes this decision more obvious than getting an engagement video.
Engagement videos are perfect if:
you are already an engaged couple, and looking to celebrate your engagement with a beautiful, short film
you are planning to pop the question, and would like a professional videographer to capture the proposal
your friend recently got engaged, and you need ideas for a unique engagement gift
I offer couple engagement videos to all my couples. It’s a perfect opportunity to meet, get to know each other, and produce a beautiful moving video of your relationship.
Olivia and Scott’s engagement at Blackpool Pier
Olivia and Scott have an unbreakable bond that shows beautifully on film. Ahead of their engagement session, I had asked them to think about their relationship and what they mean to each other, so that I could use it for their engagement film.
I met them, and their dog Yogi, at their house, where I recorded the talk about their love for each other. We then headed to Stanley Park and Blackpool Pier, a stunning backdrop that means so much to their relationship
Charlotte and Nick’s engagement in the Peak District
Charlotte and Nick both share a passion for the outdoors, and they wanted their engagement video to reflect who they are: a fun, active, loving couple. They are great hikers, and spend most of their weekends on long walks in the Peak, the Lakes, and even in Wales.
When planning their engagement video, I carefully curated a selection of shots, and they were up for trying anything to create memories that would last a lifetime. Nick owns a Land Rover Defender, which they drive every weekend on their hiding trips. This car is genuinely part of who they are (they’re actually planning his and hers Defender on their wedding day), and we used the car throughout their engagement shoot. I also got amazing drone footage of them driving across the Peak District, perfect to tell their story.
