As a cinematic wedding videographer, I use drone footage to tell your story from a different, aerial view. I’m passionate about delivering creative and engaging wedding films.
Drone footage to tell your story
I’m very aware that your wedding video isn’t just a collection of nice drone footage. It’s an incredible scene setter, as you instantly recognise where you are in the world when seeing videos from up above. But it has a place, and a purpose in your film, so I carefully select specific drone shots to incorporate in the video, and only add them in when it feels right.
As a visual story-teller, I’m constantly looking for ways to get creative within my wedding films. For me to deliver innovative shots and tell your story from a different perspective, I use drone wedding videography and footage captured from an aerial viewpoint. This dramatically enhances the wedding film, and it’s a technique that is really creative for wedding portraiture, or for seeing a venue from the sky.
I’m a fully qualified drone operator, and have a license for my drone. I take my drone on all weddings, whether UK-based or destination weddings.

I do not charge extra for drone footage: it is included in my packages, for all weddings, at no extra cost. As mentioned above, it’s just part of my story-telling approach, and it’s very powerful when captured from up in the air.
On the morning of the wedding, I usually get to your venue early, to allow myself time to capture the surroundings using my drone. This is also known as the establishing shots. The establishing shots allow me to set the scene, and the location becomes instantly known by the viewer within a wedding film. I take drone shots throughout the day, which includes aerial perspective of your wedding reception, the surroundings, or even wedding ceremony (when allowed, of course). Again, only when it feels right, and when it serves a true purpose: to tell your story.
If you’re looking for a creative wedding videographer, then I’d love to hear from you.
