Hockwold Hall is one of the prettiest wedding venues in Norfolk. It is located on the border of of Suffolk, Cambrideshire and Norfolk, and offers a unique and picturesque setting for any wedding.

It is a grade 2 listed building, so if you’re looking for a wedding venue with heritage in East Anglia, it should be top of your list.

As a Norfolk wedding videographer, I love filming at Hockwold Hall. The venue has so much character, acres of space, and stunning walled gardens - perfect if you’re looking to organise your wedding ceremony outdoor (the venue is licensed for both indoor and outdoor civil ceremony). It looks beautiful for the all important couple portrait shots!

Sam & Alvin’s intimate affair at Hockwold Hall.

Sam and Alvin are both nurses, and met in 2018. When they decided to tie the knot at Hockwold Hall, they wanted their wedding to be really private, with only the closest of friends and family; some of which travelled all the way from America, or the Philippines, where they are both from.

They had planned for an outdoor ceremony, and really wanted to make the most of the gardens. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t on our side that day, and it rained all morning, so the wedding ceremony had to be moved inside, into the function room.

Sam and Alvin wrote the most emotional and powerful vows to each other, which they read out during the wedding ceremony. They talk about what they mean to each other, and how, despite all of their struggles, they choose each other. They’ll always choose each other. This is the narrative for their wedding film. A truly inspirational relationship.
