Wedding videography in London
Hello, I’m Joce, a London wedding videographer
I’m a UK and Destination wedding videographer, and I have years of experience in capturing love stories in some of the most breathtaking locations. I’m a cinematic wedding videographer: my filmmaking style is inspired by cinema, but I never turn it into a big production on the day. I’m very aware that your wedding day isn’t just a styled shoot. I feel strongly that for me to capture authentic, genuine moments, I need to let the day unfold. It all comes together through my eye for composition, and editing approach. My style of cinematography brings to life the essence of your day, the small details, and the intimate moments you never want to miss.

Sophie and Jonny’s day at The Old Marylebone Town Hall
Sophie and Jonny met at Durham University in 2013, and what was a friendship soon blossomed into one of the most beautiful love stories I’ve had the privilege to capture on film. They moved to London shortly after finishing University, and got a flat in Islington, an area I know really well.
When Sophie and Jonny contacted me to be their wedding videographer, they told me how fond they are of London, and wanted their wedding film to fully embrace the City Centre. In fact, they had carefully planned the whole day around the city which they had lived in and fell in love with. They wanted me to keep with their London theme throughout.
Sophie and her bridal party stayed at Number 10 Manchester Street Hotel, a short walk from The Old Marylebone Town Hall. There, I captured some very intimate moments of the bride with her bridesmaids – including her own brother, and the groom’s sister. A real family affair. After capturing some of those special moments, I made the short walk to the pub (it’s not what you think): Jonny and his groomsmen enjoyed a few pints at their ‘local’, The Marylebone pub, formerly known as the Queens Head, before heading to The Hall to welcome the guests.
The Old Marylebone Town Hall is a magical place for a wedding. It is an iconic wedding venue, and it really kept in line with the theme they had for the day, all centred around the urban feel that a City Centre wedding gives you.
Sophie and Jonny wrote the most heartfelt set of wedding vows. It’s impossible not to feel emotional when listening to them telling each other what they mean to one another. This is the main thread behind their wedding film, and I used their vows alongside the footage captured, to encapsulate how they felt on the day. Following this emotional ceremony, and couple portraits outside of The Old Marylebone Town Hall, we hopped in a taxi together, which was another opportunity for me to bring the City Centre theme to life. This is the opening sequence of their wedding film – the couple holding hands in a London taxi, following their ceremony.
The rest of the day was spent at Frederick’s, a beautiful venue in the heart of Islington, where the celebrations were full of hugs and laughter. Sophie and Jonny have a very special group of friends, and it’s easy to see why everyone travelled far and wide to be there with them.
